My projects and creations are all free. “Free” as in “free beer,” but also ‘free’ as in “freedom”. I don’t make money, whether I’m building projects, writing articles, or defending freedom and privacy. And that’s perfectly fine—that’s the essence of open source. I do it out of conviction, not for a paycheck.
I am neither anti-capitalist nor striving for self-sufficiency. I am simply convinced that it is possible to create solutions that benefit everyone without making them paid, filled with ads, or turned into spyware.
I’m currently a student (and unemployed), spending countless hours developing privacy-focused digital solutions—all without earning a dime.
